As one of my favourite psychology teachers at university used to say

In my 22 years of working with people, I have become convinced that the most helpful theory is one that has been repeatedly tested, rethought and refined within the framework of practical application, and which is understandable to everyone and comfortable to use.

This is what happened with Eric Berne’s and my teacher Claude Steiner’s model, which I used for many years, but which my clients had questions about. Since 2016, I have been using an improved version of it in my work. Like a seamstress in love with her work who wants the dress to fit like a glove, I identified the inaccuracy and refined the model to make it a more accurate and subtle instrument of positive change. I am happy to share it ❤️ Here is a link to an article that has already been translated and published in five languages.
